I started the day early today to solve a problem that I had for some time and never got around solving it: bulk convert FLAC to ALAC. I wasted so much time this morning with the products from shedworx until I finally discovered the free program XLD that does any conversion professionally and multi core and retina optimized on my retina MBP. Quality of the stock MP3 conversion is simply awful. Perhaps the Pro version is listenable... They should up-sell from a better starting point.

Its good. Its Ok. It converts pretty fast and it doesnt take up too much memory. However, I find there is always a catch to FREE Apps: To convert a song to an iTunes, MP3 or AAC it is great. But if you convert it to a ringtone, it is flat out terrible! The sound is awful. Fix that and I will give this app 5 stars.

This app is simple and for what you pay (nothing) it works great. It can convert files then send them straight to itunes which is awesome. For anyone that complains that it can only convert 1 file at a time, what did you excpect if you want to do more just spend a little money and buy the paid version. For a free app this ones awesome

Great app if you need to convert a few music files. I would recomend geting the pro version if you have more then a few files to convert as you can only do one at a time in this version

This app provides no value for free. The quality is horrible and only exists to sell the "pro" version.

This product is great. I use it to extract audio from videos and it does an excellent job.

Output quality is bad and cannot specify the destination. Free does not mean holding user hostage.

It just converts a single file at a time. I converted FLAC to Apple Lossless, so the quality should be OK :-)

Every time I try to drag a .flac music file into the application it give me an error and will not do anything. I will not by the full version if the free one doesnt even do what is says.

great app to convert FLAcs to iTunes, ringtones and more. after its done, items are automatically deposited into appropriate places. very easy and quick to use. 09/30/12

Everytime I convert something I get an Add to buy some product. Fix this and I will give it 5 stars

You cant set the properties of the mp3s. is it 128Kbps? 192 Kbps? 256Kbps? No Idea. The app works, but no settings available.

So im makeing a home media server and i need mp3s. this app worked perfectly! it was alittle dificult at fist converting 50 mp4s but then if i got 1 song it was fine!

There’s no batch conversion.

Used this today for the first time to convert 16 .flac songs to be able to use them in iTunes. The app converted them and uploaded them to iTunes for me in a few seconds a song, maybe a little faster. Based on other people’s reviews I did the songs one at a time. Took about 4 minutes to do 16 songs. I’m impressed because it works for exactly what I need it for- would want a batching option if I had to do more songs though.

Converts 5 seconds of WMA song into MP3 for itunes. Waste of my time.
